FINE WATCHES

Analog	Shows time by use of dials or hands using numbers or markers.
Chronograph	A multi-function watch with a stopwatch function. Most have 2-3 dials on the face.
Digital	Watch that displays time in numbers instead of hands on a dial.
LCD (liquid crystal display)	A digital watch that displays time electronically by means of a liquid between two transparent layers.
Quartz	A caliber of movement that uses the vibrations of a quartz crystal to maintain timing accuracy.
Shock Resistance	Ability of a watch to withstand an impact equal to that of being dropped on a wood floor from a height of 3 feet.
Movement	The internal working of a watch as opposed to the external pieces (case, crystal, band)
